What Is IV Therapy?

Healthcare provider in blue scrubs administering IV therapy to a patient at MindBodyPinnacle Health's Laurel, MD location

IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants straight into your bloodstream. Oral vitamins have to pass through your digestive system, where much of what you take is lost before it reaches your cells. An IV skips that step, so your body can use nearly all of it right away.

Patients come to us for hydration, energy, recovery after a hard week or a long flight, immune support and skin health. Because every drip is reviewed by a medical provider, it is matched to you, not picked off a spa menu.

Book Online

Choose your drip and a time online in under three minutes, at one of our offices or for a mobile visit. Not sure which drip fits? Book a consultation and we will help you choose.

Quick Health Screening

Before your first drip, our clinical team reviews your health history, medications and goals. IV therapy may not be right for people with certain heart, kidney or liver conditions or during pregnancy, and the screening is how we keep every session safe.

Relax and Drip

A licensed clinician places a small IV, usually in your arm, and you rest while it runs. Most drips take 30 to 60 minutes; NAD+ takes longer. Read, work, listen to music or nap.
